Paul reveals the mystery of the Gospel: the inclusion of the Gentiles into the New Covenant.

Paul expresses his deep sense of responsibility in proclaiming the Gospel, his unwavering care for the Thessalonians, and his constant exhortation that they walk worthy of the calling they have received.

Paul introduces himself as an apostle of Christ in his letter to the churches of Galatia. He warns the Galatians of the dangers of turning to a false and distorted gospel, emphasizing the serious consequences for those who preach such a gospel.

In this passage, Peter reminds believers that even though they face various trials, these momentary afflictions are refining their faith like gold in fire. Our genuine faith will result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Peter begins his letter with praise to God for the living hope we have through Christ's resurrection. Our inheritance is kept in heaven, secure and imperishable, as we're guarded by God's power.

Peter addresses his letter to believers scattered throughout Asia Minor. He reminds them they were chosen according to God's foreknowledge, sanctified by the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ.

In this pilot post, I explain why I've decided to start this devotional blog. I hope to encourage others in their walk with Christ through this website.
